Daemon & Rhaenyra || Fire Breather

I started this video weeks and weeks ago, when the first episode of House of the Dragon was released. Then I started 15 others edits on them, since it become a huge, HUGE, HUGE obsession.

But lol they are not a new ship to me. I ship them since years, from the books, and this show is just... a dream becoming reality. I never expected Daemon and Rhaenyra, probably my biggest OTP of ASOAIF universe, to one day have an adaptation and even less to have SUCH A PERFECT adaptation. Matt Smith, Milly Alcock and Emma D'Arcy just... blow my mind away in their acting for these characters. And the writing of them is just perfect AND YES EVEN AFTER EPISODE 10. I see saw many people said that their ship was ruined by the end of the season and... people, what the fuck ?? Seriously ? I'm sorry but I don't understand any person who are disappointed by the end. If you are shocked by the fact that Daemon chokes Rhaenyra or because he didn't come when she was calling for him... well, I'm not sure of which books you read or what show you watched, because Rhaenyra and Daemon was always a toxic ship. They were NEVER good persons. I don't think that any Targaryen is, to be honest, but these two, in particular, are particulary dark, in the books AND in the show from the fucking first episode (don't you remember that we are talking about a men who seduced his teenage niece to get the throne ?). And... they ARE GOOD LIKE THIS PEOPLE. It's by being who they are, toxic, dark, with this little touch of romantism, that make this ship so good. Why trying to romantize them and see them as something that they're not ?

I don't understand the fandom reaction over them in the final. All of their moments in the episode 10 make sense with their characters, their writing and I'm glad that the writers was not cowards and didn't try to hide the darkest part of their personality and their relationship. For my part, I see in the episode 10 my OTP that I love from years being honored and respected. I'm happy for this, for Daemon and Rhaenyra, and I will stan for this episode.

But anyway. I'm happy about this edit. This is a song that I dream to edit since my dear Alexia edited it, years ago, to Vane and Eleanor (just here, if you are curious :    • Fire Breather (Charles Vane/Eleanor G...  ) and make me discover the song. And lol you will not see many things on my channel from now except them, because I basically only edited them these last weeks and now that I have the final season, I'm finally able to finish these edits and make them public.

Of course, meanwhile, many others editors already edited the songs I picked for them. I wished to wait to have the entire seasons and I will still make my versions public, since they will be DRASTICALLY different. Hope you will enjoy that one, and all of the others to come !

Oh and, #teamblack. But nobody touch Alicent on my ground. Or Aemond. Or Helaena. Yeah okay, I love the Greens too lol.
