Olivia and Michael ~ A Classic Cape Cod Wedding at the Wequassett in Harwich, MA

Olivia and Mike met while seniors in High School visiting Lehigh University as track recruits. The friendship grew over the years and included some lovely weekends in the Cape together. As Olivia put it, "I always felt so at home with him and with his family. I knew this was a really special relationship from the very early years". So it was a natural choice for the two to come together again, 14 years later, surrounded by family and friends on Cape Cod to wed.

We started our day as guests gathered at Immaculate Conception Chapel for the ceremony. The ceremony meant a lot to Mike and Olivia. Exiting the church as husband and wife surrounded by family and friends as bubbles flew and ribbons danced was a favorite moment for the couple.

Next was onto to Wequassett Resort for the celebration! Family and friends (and pup!) gathered with the bride and groom for portraits, the perfect cape Cod sunshine and lots of smiles before heading into the reception.

The Reception Hall was decorated with the perfect elegant and charming decor for a Cape wedding. Candle light sparkled on tables laid with lush ivory florals and accented by the perfect blue hydrangeas and nautical navy linens. The bride and groom entered and had their first dance, sharing the moment, and the dance floor, with their guests. After wonderful toasts and a lovely dinner, the dance floor was packed for the rest of the night as the band played on!
