Описание к видео INVEST WITH ONLY $1 VIA GOTRADE: NEW STOCK INVESTMENT APP REVIEW PHILIPPINES

Here I'm sharing how you can invest with only $1 via GoTrade, one of the newest stock investment apps available offering U.S. stocks and ETF's! You've read that right, you can start investing in stocks of globally renowned companies such as Microsoft, Apple, Google, Facebook, Starbucks, and McDonalds, just for the minimum buy-in stock price of $1.

Online trading platforms have made it possible for small retail investors to invest in global stocks by offering the option to buy fractional shares of companies. In the past, you buying stocks of global chip companies (and any stock for that matter), had to meet the minimum buy price equalling 1 share. In many cases, just 1 share of globally renowned successful company can be at the thousands of dollars per share! But, these online trading platforms such as eToro and WeBull have made buying of fractional shares of companies possible, and even commission-free! But, the proverbial glass continues to be shattered as new these stock investment apps such as GoTrade, have made the hurdle even lower! Where as eToro offers purchase of global stocks for as low as $50, GoTrade is taking this hurdle much lower with their offering of investments for as low as $1!

In this video, I'm sharing an honest review of the GoTrade app based on my experience in the past few weeks after signing up and using it as one of the platforms I use to trade U.S. stocks. As with most reviews, this will be a mixed bag! I'm highlighting a few key points as well as unfortunately spotting a few red flags. The greatest benefit of the GoTrade app is what I've mentioned earlier: investing in U.S. stocks for as little as $1! You can't really compete with that. Competitors such as eToro can't much GoTrade's minimum investment buy proposition. What may be more comparable may be the investment options that Globe's GCash GInvest is offering in partnership with ATRAM where you can invest in local stocks for as low as P50, approximately $1. But, GCash only offers this P50 for the local market. Buying into the foreign market is actually higher at P1,000 for the ATRAM Global Consumer Trends Index Fund and the ATRAM Global Technology Feeder Fund. Moreso, GCash's offerings are limited to equity funds rather than an outright stock purchase. With these, GoTrade's value proposition continues to be unmatched!

Another great thing about the offer of this new app is the sign-up offer to get $6 FREE with GoTrade. Upon signing up and completing the verification process, users immediately get $3 FREE that they can use to purchase the U.S. stock or ETF of their choice. If the new user shares his Debit/Credit Card details and funds his GoTrade wallet, he gets another $3 amounting to the total of $6. I quickly used these GoTrade credits to purchase stocks of Nvidia and Microsoft! Wanting to make purchases, I looked to fund my GoTrade wallet more but I was met with a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT --- funding my wallet with my Credit Card was not an available option! I couldn't understand this. I had just shared my credit card details and funded my wallet. But now, I was unable to purchase more stocks through my credit card, which is how I fund my stock buys via eToro.

The third great thing about GoTrade is it user interface. They've really gone out of their way to make stock investing easy! The tabs and navigation are easy to follow. Anyone new to stock investing will be enticed especially with the non-intimidating language that the use. But as easy as signing up was and buying my first stocks, where I was met again with some disappointment was in reviewing how to withdraw my funds. It seemed pretty straightforward: enter my full name, account number, bank's name, bank's address, and bank's swift code. But, my heart dropped when I saw the disclaimer: any mistake made on the bank and account details may merit a penalty fee of $20! I kind of panicked, not sure if my bank's official name still goes by its full name of "Bank of the Philippine Islands" or the modern abbreviation "BPI". I also wasn't sure if my account number officially led with two or three 0's at the start, as the bank itself is quite flexible with this for local transactions. Faced with doubt, I decided not to risk losing the $20 and pushed the GoTrade withdrawal for a future date. I'm sure I'll find a way to correctly withdraw my money from GoTrade, but I find it weird that they've made the user experience very easy --- except for this part! Also, I haven't enountered such money problems with eToro and Airbnb for my routine withdrawal.

Do you think you'll be using the GoTrade app despite these?
