2024 Levisa Bridges full movie

Lee Gillard lives in the Wheatbelt in Western Australia. He was a happily married farmer until his farm was bought out, and then soon after that, his wife left him. Undergoing counseling for depression, he was not sure what to do. The death of his mother took him back to his birthplace in North England. His mother's old letters told him more about Levi; his American father whom he only knew by name. This took him from the brink of a complete breakdown to the banks of the Ohio River in the American Midwest. Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and on into Appalachia, where things Lee had taken for granted were turned upside down. A new narrative of his family’s past created a new narrative for his future.

Producers notes
This is my first ‘Feature’ movie, after making two ‘Short’ versions of the same project.
The short movie of Levisa Bridges was aimed at catching the eye of a Production Company who may be interested in taking my story ‘Levisa Bridges’ and creating a full production.
However, when I had finished the second version of the ‘short’, I realised two things; I had learned a lot about film making in the process (from nothing) and I had begun to enjoy it as a creative endeavor.
Despite the ‘short’ having dozens of obvious faults, it did win some token laurels in film festivals, and that gave me confidence to make this final ‘feature length’ version.
On a zero budget, and scenes located in Australia, UK, and America, only the worst original footage was re-shot, and the story developed where possible.
I am still working on the written story, and I still see the ‘feature’ version which I have made as a possible stepping stone to a larger production by an experienced team.
