Alice Loxton is a historian, presenter and author with 2 million followers on social media. On her Instagram account, History_alice, Alice creates bite-size pieces of historical content for her followers.

Her debut non-fiction history book, UPROAR!, reimagines the history of Georgian Britain through the eyes of the artists who immortalised it. It was released on 2nd March 2023, and has been Longlisted for Blackwell’s Book of the Year.
