Sculpting Axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum)_Polymer Clay_Life of Clay

Описание к видео Sculpting Axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum)_Polymer Clay_Life of Clay

Hello guys, again a new kind of amphibian sculpture i offer you here.
#Axolotl, also known as Mexican walking fish, is a neotenic #salamander related to the tiger salamander.
Although colloquially known as #walkingfish, the axolotl is not a fish but an amphibian. They tribe in Mexican lakes, they are really unusual because they can reach adulthood without undergoing metamorphosis.
Instead of developing lungs to live on land they remain under water and gilled.
This AXOLOTL are so fascinating in all its character that’s why hobbyist keeps them as a pet. But just be careful not to mix them with other fishes in an aquarium for they might eat them all.

I sculpted this #AXOLOTL to be a part of my unique collection of animals and to showcase them for education purposes.
Simple and tricky is how i explain the creation of this sculpture, due to its transparency and very subtle coloration since it’s an albino, and also those tiny toes which are very delicate.
