Let's look at Mass Effect's interstellar bad guy species of Artificial Intelligences that actually has more going on than first appears. First made by the Quarians, the Geth then forced them off Rannoch and isolated themselves from the galaxy at large becoming a warning lesson from the Citadel about the dangers of A.I.
