Box Hill in Surrey is maintained by the National Trust who were given the land in 1914 by Leopold Salomans.

There are a variety of well signposted circular trails such as Juniper Top (4 miles) which has bluebells in Spring and is through beautiful woodland.

The Happy Valley (3 miles) trail takes about 2 hours again through woodland and the Box Hill Hike (8 miles) which takes 4-6 hours is around the perimeter of the estate.

In this video we highlight the Happy Valley trail landmarks and views over the countryside.

Maps, advice and cafe facilities are available at the Visitor Centre where most the walks commence.
