Säveltäjä Ann-Elise Hannikainen is a Finnish opera composed in honour of the composer Ann-Elise Hannikainen (1946–2012). Daughter of a Finnish diplomat, she studied to become a pianist, but due to health issues had to shift her interest to composing. Hannikainen made her career mostly in Spain, where she lived with her teacher, the famous Spanish composer Ernesto Halffter.

Ida Heimonen and Riina Salmi are presenting this opera in partial fulfillment of the requirements for their degrees in drama instruction at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. The production is a co-operation between Metropolia's performing arts and music departments. The opera was premiered in Helsinki on 13 November 2015.
