Dahlia on Vintage Sized Xuan Paper Chinese Painting for Beginners

Ling Chi is back with another delightful lesson for beginners this time showing how you can paint spontaneous style on sized paper. This new Vintage Sized Xuan Paper is forgiving with moisture helping you reduce excess bleeding and even allowing manipulation of the stroke after initial application.

Although we don't recommend this Vintage Sized Xuan for Fineline Painting it is a wonderful paper for those who want more moisture control in their spontaneous style painting and an easier transition for those used to Western watercolor techniques and perhaps struggling with moisture on raw Xuan paper.
