Learn Google Site Verification with HTML File Upload (Search Console)
Let's see how we can verify our website in google search console using the HTML file upload method.

With this method, you just need to upload an HTML file to the root directory of your website via FTP or something like cPanel File Manager.

Before you start sign into your Google Account.
We recommend that you use a separate Google Account for development and testing purposes to protect yourself against accidental data loss.

now let's get started here in chrome visit google search console website
https://search.google.com/search-cons...

Then add your site to Google Search Console. https://yoursitename.com
click on continue.

Here you will get five options:

HTML Method:
HTML tag
Google Analytics
Google Tag Manager &
Domain name provider

Click on the first option Html method which is recommended.

Now follow the steps:
download the file. To download the file click on this downward arrow.

next step upload this file to the root directory of your website with the help of Cpanel or you can use FTP also.

nowhere using Cpanel.
so access your Cpanel click on file manager

go to root directory: public_html
and here in public_html folder upload the google verification HTML file.

to upload the file click on upload, drag and drop your google verification HTML file from downloads.

here we have successfully uploaded the file click. and here is our file.

go back to google search console tab.click on verify.

checking verification. Ownership verified.

To stay verified, don't remove the file, even after verification succeeds.
