Is Math Mammoth a mastery-based or a spiral program?

Описание к видео Is Math Mammoth a mastery-based or a spiral program?

Math Mammoth is a mastery-based program, which means that each year in the curriculum is divided into chapters by broad topics, such as addition & subtraction, multiplication, measurement, division, fractions, decimals, percent, and so on. The curriculum also includes review of previous topics, mainly in two manners:
1. It includes mixed review lessons (and additional cumulative review lessons).
2. The word problems used in the lessons also require the student to use concepts and skills that have been studied earlier, and not only the skill studied in the lesson.

We also offer supplemental skills review workbooks that provide additional review of topics, in a spiral manner.

It's also possible to use Math Mammoth in a somewhat spiral manner: simply have your child study in 2-3 chapters at the same time.
