Manitoba Institute of Trades & Technology: Carpentry Program

The demand for skilled trades has never been higher in Manitoba. You can get your Level 1 Carpentry in 5 months at MITT and find work right out of school. Students in our Carpentry courses gain employment in the construction industry, including home building and renovations.

Our program covers all practical skills and knowledge that you’ll find in the Level 1 Carpentry Apprenticeship program, plus additional topics found in higher levels of the Apprenticeship training program. Credits earned are transferable to other schools, so if you decide to pursure your Level 2 Apprenticeship you can do it with confidence.
