In this video, Freedom of Religion South Africa (FOR SA) gives a brief overview of the CRL Rights Commission’s report on the “Commercialisation” of Religion and Abuse of People’s Belief Systems (including the CRL’s proposal for the regulation of religion), and the chronology of events that followed their report up and until the CRL’s National Consultative Conference (NCC) in February 2019 where a resolution was adopted for the CRL to continue its process to “control” religious practitioners.
