I'm from Southville Subdivision, San Jose Molo, Iloilo City, Philippines; I'm residing right now here in Chicago with my family. I finished my high school from San Jose Catholic School and my college from University of San Agustin, Iloilo city. The legendary Freddie Aguilar gave me the name CHITO ILONGGO when I was at Hobbit House performing with him. this song Dugo Sang Isa Ka Ilonggo is my original composition, which I composed when I was working in Tripoli Libya with my wife. Sa sobra kasubo and hidlaw sa ILOILO, nakahimo ako kanta. I'm so happy knowing that you all like this song. this was nominated as best in regional song recording sa 1993 AWIT AWARDS in Philippines. because of this song I was given a resolution by Mayor Trenas as one of the best entertainers of Iloilo in 2002, and i was given the HALL of FAME AWARD in Music 2001 and HALL of FAME AWARD in ENTERTAINMENT 2002 here in Chicago by the filipino community. this was composed with all my balatyagon and LOVE to our beautiful place, ILOILO. again thank you for viewing and listening to this song, from the bottom of my HEART.
