Ingredients for Chicken vegetable masala:
Oil 3 tbsp.
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp.
Boneless chicken (strips) 1 cup
Carrots (julienne) 1/2 cup
Cabbage (julienne) 1/2 cup
Capsicum (julienne) 1/2 cup
French beans 1/2 cup
Sweet Corn 1/2 cup
Vinegar 2 tbsp.
Soy sauce 1 tbsp.
Hot sauce 1/2 tbsp.
Salt 1 tsp / to taste
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
White pepper powder 1 tsp
Red chili flakes 1 tsp

Ingredients for Boiled Rice:
Water (for soaking) as required
Guard Basmati Rice 3 cups
Water (for boiling) as required
Salt 1 tbsp.
Oil 2 tbsp.
Vinegar 2 tbsp.
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Bay leaf 1
Star anise 1

Ingredients for Assembling:
Boiled rice
Chicken vegetable masala
Green coriander (chopped) 1/4 cup

Directions for Chicken vegetable masala preparation:
1. Heat oil in a pot. Sauté ginger garlic paste for a minute.
2. Add chicken and cook until changes color. Now add salt, soy sauce, vinegar, hot sauce and cook for 2 minutes or until water dries out.
3. Add carrots, capsicum, cabbage, French beans, corn, black pepper, white pepper, red chili flakes and cook for 3-4 minutes.
4. Your chicken vegetable masala is ready. Take off flame.
Directions for Boiled Rice Preparation:
5. In a bowl add water and Guard Basmati Rice and soak for 25 minutes.
6. In a pot, bring water to boil, add salt, oil, bay leaf, star anise, cumin seeds, and vinegar.
7. add soaked rice and boil until 80% rice is done. Strain and set aside.
Directions for Assembling:
8. In a pot spread the layer of boiled rice, chicken vegetable masala, and rice again.
9. Cover with lid and steam for 10-12 minutes on low flame.
10. Dish out and garnish with coriander.
11. Your Chicken Vegetable Masala Biryani is ready to serve.
