(3 Jul 2017) A largely reused capsule delivering supplies to the International Space Station unberthed on Monday ahead of its return to earth.
Space X's Dragon capsule, consisting of largely the same material and equipment from previous missions, had been attached to the ISS for nearly a month, delivering supplies and conducting scientific experiments.
The capsule is expected back on earth on Monday after five hours of free flight and reentry through the atmosphere.
The mission marked a historic moment for private space flight company SpaceX, with this capsule being the first reused spacecraft by a private company and the first to arrive at the ISS since the conclusion of NASA's Space Shuttle programme in 2011.
