Outdoor Test of Hobbywing's QuicRun Fusion Brushless Crawler Motor in a Traxxas TRX-4 Sport

Описание к видео Outdoor Test of Hobbywing's QuicRun Fusion Brushless Crawler Motor in a Traxxas TRX-4 Sport

My recent rock-filled adventure with the TRX-4 Sport made me once-again realize what a great truck it is. I also realized that I hadn't done any updates to it in a while, and saw an opportunity to try out a new brushless motor that I'd had my eye on.

Hobbywing's QuicRun Fusion brushless crawler system combines the smooth power of a brushless motor with a built-in ESC, giving you a tidy, compact unit that provides an amazing range of performance. The Axe system from Hobbywing is one that I'd been thinking about dropping into one of my rigs, but the 2-in-1 combo of the QuicRun Fusion seemed too good to pass up.

After some light indoor driving, I took this rig outdoors to see how it would perform on natural obstacles. What really surprises me about this brushless crawler system is the smooth and consistent low-end power that it provides. At times I felt like I was watching a slow-motion video as the TRX-4 Sport would creep and claw its way over my "course".

Top-end speed, on a NiMh battery, is nothing to write home about, but it's still a decent cruising speed for a trail truck. I'll be taking this truck to more locations for further shake-downs, but so far, I like what I see from Hobbywing's system.
