European Tour 2019 - The End of the World

We continue our trip across Europe in our self built Mercedes Sprinter Camper Van and travel to the end of the world, Cape St Vincent, Sagres, Portugal.

The Cape of Saint Vincent is the most southwesterly point of Europe and was considered, up until the 14th century, to be the end of the known world. With rugged cliffs rising above ferocious seas and one of Europe’s brightest lighthouses that can be seen 60 miles away.
The lighthouse originates from 1846 and was constructed on the old ruins of a Franciscan monastery. As far as you can see is the Atlantic ocean and you can also see why people thought the earth was flat as there is nothing on the horizon at all.
