Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this recessed mount white LED livewell boat light. Now, this waterproof LED is going to provide a white light to light up your boat's livewell for nighttime fishing, making it easy to inspect your fish and your livewell, or it can even be used for a step or walkway lighting. As you see, I already have this connected to power with it lit up. So, even with my bright studio lights on, you can see just how bright this white LED is.
Now, let me go ahead and give you a better idea of what you can expect from this by turning my studio lights off. And again, at this close range, you can see how bright it is. And then zooming out here a little bit gives you a better idea. Hopefully, my camera will stay in focus. This is a premium LED and it's gonna be energy efficient, long-lasting, and vibration resistant.
It's rated up to 50,000 hours of operation. And this LED is sealed in a waterproof polycarbonate housing and a clear UV resistant lens over that white LED. Now, this has an IP rating of 68, so that means that it's good to withstand dust, dirt, and sand, and resistant to submersion up to a maximum depth of 1.5 meters underwater for up to 30 minutes. This has a military grade construction of the circuit board and a urethane potting that offers better protection than common epoxy potting. This is, again, a recessed amount.
And it does require a 3/4 of an inch diameter cut-out. And this is going to install with the included threaded nylon nut and gaskets. So, I've already assembled this. So, you have these two gaskets here. Hopefully, you can see those.
And then it's going to tighten down with this included nylon nut. And of course, those gaskets are going to create that weathertight seal and protect the finish of your boat. This is compatible with 12 volt DC systems and this is going to hardwire to your application. And let me pull out my ruler here and just give you some overall dimensions. Looking at the overall thickness, we are sitting a little bit under an inch. Right at about 15/16 of an inch. And looking at the diameter, actually it's the same measurement, a little under an inch, 15/16 of an inch in diameter. This has an input voltage of nine to 14 volts and a power draw of 0.06 to 0.08 amps. While I still have my ruler out, let me take a look at the wire length here and run that all the way down the ruler. Looks like we're sitting pretty close to 7 3/4 inches overall on that wire length. 7 3/4 inches long. And this does have a limited lifetime warranty. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
