Naval Surface Warfare Center - NSWC Crane is a naval laboratory and a field activity of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) with mission areas in Expeditionary Warfare, Strategic Missions and Electronic Warfare. The warfare center is responsible for multi-domain, multi- spectral, full life cycle support of technologies and systems enhancing capability to today’s Warfighter. The exercise, part of NSWC Crane’s scientific mission, includes experimentation with technologies that can be employed on small multi-domain unmanned systems and may include manned/unmanned surface vessels in the water and small unmanned airborne systems. The results from these experiments will improve spectrum maneuver and resilience capabilities for military personnel.
