Automotive Transmission Lift Assist

This custom pneumatic tool lifts two different automotive transmission types using two separate grip jaws. The tool features: an all steel and aluminum frame, pneumatic grip cylinder, safe grip detector built into the jaws with an indicator gauge, delrin/linatex rubber lined grip jaws, gripper safety circuit for mid-air drop prevention, soft grip ergonomic handles with integrated up/down 2-speed hoist controls and grip/release controls. The tool is suspended from a Gorbel enclosed track aluminum bridge crane with a 1/4-ton 2-speed Harrington NER hoist.
