Romjaner Oi Rojar Sheshe Elo Khushir Eid | রমজানের ঐ রোজার শেষে | Ishrak Hussain | Eid Song 2021

"O Mon Ramjaner Oi Rojar Sheshe/ও মন রমজানের ওই রোজার শেষে" is a legendary poem and song to glorify the Muslim Holiday "Eid Ul Fitr", one of the greatest festivals for Muslims. The song is originally written, sung and composed by the great Luminary of Bangla, Kazi Nazrul Islam. The song speaks about the thousand years of Islamic heritage and traditions and the beautiful harmony and humanity in the Muslim spirit in the verses like, "আজ ভুলে যা তোর দোস্ত দুশমন" (Forget all the enmity today) and hails the human love and universal fraternity which is one of the greatest leanings of Islam.
The song is vibrant with all the colours of music and heavy instruments to bring the beautiful vibration of festival and a glorious celebration of the Eid Day.

Today, you shall sacrifice yourself, listen to the calling of the heaven
Tor sona-dana, balakhana sob rahey lillah
Your wealth, treasury and palaces are all to be spent for the sake of Allah
De Jakat Murda Muslimer aj Bhanga Eid er nid
Give jakah(charity), to awaken the sleeping youth of Muslims, an awakening of joy
O mon romjaner oi rojar sheshe elo khushir Eid
O, my heart, the joyful Eid has arrived after fasting of the blessed Ramadan

Aj porbi eider namaz re mon sei se eidgahe
My soul, you shall pray, the prayer of eid on the ancient yard
Je moydane sob gaji muslim hoyechen sohid
Where the legends of Islam won the battles and martyred

Aj bhule ja tor dost dushmon, haat melao haate
On this blessed day, let us forget all enmity, stand hand in hand
Tor prem diye kor bisso nikhil islamer murid
Make the world fall in love with Islam with your love alone

fasting of the blessed Ramadan

Jara jibon vore rakhche roja nitto upobashi
Those who are fasting all their life, starving every day
Sei gorib etim miskine de ja kichu mufid
Give all you have to that starving ones, the orphan ones

fasting of the blessed Ramadan
Tui apnake aj bilie de son asmani tagid
Today, you shall sacrifice yourself, listen to the calling of the heaven

Dhal ridoyer tashtorite shirni tawhider
Pour all your faith and holy belief, make a feast of your Tawhid
Tor dawat kobul korben hazrat hoy mone ummid
And hopefully the beloved prophet (PBUH) shall accept the invitation to your heart

Tore marlo chure jibon jure it pathor jara
The ones who threw stones at you all the life long
Sei pathor diye tol re gore premeri masjid
Make a mosque of love out of those thrown stones
