Helicopter Hunting Geese off Hudson Bay

Epic adventure to Kaska Goose Lodge off the Hudson Bay for an incredible waterfowl hunting adventure. Hunted snow geese, ross geese, Canada geese and were surprised by the number of ducks.

The logistics were much simpler than what we could imagine where we took a chartered airplane from Winnipeg to Kaska. Beautiful and remote landscape where we saw polar bears, moose, woodland caribou and black bears. Great camp with food that surpassed any expectations that we had. Using the helicopter to fly along the coast of the Hudson Bay to reach some concentrations of geese was a big highlight. Usually hunted over a few dozen decoys. Most of the geese traveled and flew less than fifty yards off the ground.

Besides the renowned waterfowl hunting, there was also tremendous brook trout fishing within walking distance of our cabin for large sea run trout.
