In today’s mixed media tutorial, we’re adding texture paste after color to create layered backgrounds with more depth, dimension, and visual interest. This simple order change is an easy way to transform your mixed media and card making backgrounds using supplies you already have.

Instead of applying paste first, we’re layering it on top of our sprayed background to add texture and detail as a finishing touch. It’s amazing how one small switch can give you a completely different look.

This prompt is all about experimenting, trusting the process, and discovering new ways to use your stash.
