In November 2023, I travelled to Turkey (Türkiye) for my first international solo trip — exploring the timeless streets of Istanbul and the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia.

Back in school, while playing Assassin’s Creed Revelations, there was a moment where they described a city divided by a river — one side in Asia, the other in Europe. That idea stayed with me. A place that physically connects two continents felt unreal.
Years later, I found myself standing by the Bosphorus in Istanbul, watching that same divide with a camera in my hands.

This journey was more than just travel.

After two years away from filmmaking, I picked up my camera again for this trip. It wasn’t easy. Relearning framing, rediscovering movement, rebuilding confidence — all while navigating a new country alone — made this experience both challenging and deeply personal.

This film is a reflection of that process.

From the energy of Istanbul to the stillness of Cappadocia, I tried to capture not just the places, but the feeling of rediscovery — of travel, of creativity, and of stepping outside comfort zones.
