========= Historic Fact ==========

The Battle for Hill 3234 began on January 7, 1988. It was fought by Soviet troops in Afghanistan who wanted to secure a strategic road. 39 Soviets took on 250 Mujahideen rebels. Of the 39 paratroopers, six men were killed and 28 were wounded, yet their mission was a success.
