I finally reveal the overpowered and unstoppable shot creator build that I use in NBA 2K17. My shot creator build has been requested a countless number of times on my Twitch streams, so I went ahead and laid out the process for you guys. My record in the MyPark is about 2000 wins and 280 losses with this shot creator build, and a lot of the losses are due to playing with randoms. Enjoy!
A few things to note. First, I don't speed boost personally myself this year, I just use dribble moves that I like a lot which aren't considered speed boosting moves, but you can speed boost with this build easily and it is an ideal build for speed boosting. If you don't know, you need a 85 handle to speed boost. With this build, you will have a 79 ball handle, and then you need to buy the playmaking boost which gets you to 84 ball handle, and then if you're from Sunset, you get an extra +2 ball handle so you have an 86 ball handle, which is enough to do any of the speed boost dribble moves!
Two, I do say the Tear Dropper hall of fame badge isn't too important, but it is actually fairly important if you want a total overall game. It's pretty much impossible to block in MyPark this year. But, if you just want to shoot fadeaways and stepbacks et cetera, no need!
Three, wingspan wise, I did say it in this video, I went for the lowest wingspan but it is possible to increase it by an inch or so without losing the 94 3pt off the dribble rating and the 94 mid range off the dribble rating. The key is to MAKE SURE THESE ARE 94! If you increase your wingspan too much, they drop below 94 and you won't be as consistent. I haven't done the maths so I can't confirm how high you can make it - lowest wingspan has worked perfectly for me with no issues whatsoever on defence or otherwise.
Finally, with the layups and dunks rating, I'm basing this off previous 2K knowledge (I've been jamming since 2K11). When you increased the rating above 75, no matter how you manipulated the dunks with stick and no matter what dunk packages you had on, it always did some 75+ dunk only animations even if I didn't equip anything other than the basic animations. This is why I keep it pretty low. It has worked perfectly for me and whenever I take dunks in MyPark and Pro-Am, they are always the hard to block animations. In terms of layups, unless you're a slasher you should only be shooting these wide open anyway, and it is fairly easy to green light layups this year once you get the hang of it. It's exactly the same as shooting - you can green light 3s with a 50 rated 3pt, and you can easily green light layups, even contested, with around a 65 rating. Matter of the fact is though, you won't be taking many layups unless they are wide open from cuts or good drives.
