In just a few years, Nigeria has climbed the cinematic ladder and pushed Tinseltown into third (with Bollywood in India holding the top spot). Today, Nigeria is inundated with aspiring moviemakers whose productions are generating multi-million-dollar blockbusters and the obligatory glamorous red carpet events.
Our Reporters team travelled to a vibrant and camcorder-dominated Lagos in the midst of the African International Film Festival (Afriff) – the largest of its kind on the African continent - to meet with some of Nigeria’s most prominent directors, producers and actors.
