The 'Astute' - A C-Class Explorer/Huge Ship w/i Vanilla Limits.

This ship started as a concept. I wanted to make the cabot bridge the 'entry point' for a ship and thus have it as the base level, but also for the main body of the ship to be elevated so that most of the ship's habs/etc were above the level of the cockpit/bridge.

It's not quite as graceful as I might have liked, but I still like the results. Keeping everything within full Vanilla restrictions (aside from enabling Vanilla merge) means I didn't have a lot of length to develop the arc/hunch I wanted.
When she was done I decided to go with the 'NASA Punk' paint using whites and blacks. I left many pieces #3 color the default red just for pops of color/provide some visual interest in differentiation.

I also like the X300's stacked as they are. I was able to figure out how to achieve that with a vanilla merge.

Lastly, I like how the bod of the ship provides shelter for the crew as they enter/exit the ship.

In all, very much like how it came out. I might refine the interior if I could, but I think I have it and the doors/ladders flowing as best I can with Vanilla restrictions.

In all, I think the Astute makes an excellent C-Class Exploration vehicle/Conduit for RP of a Small Ship Crew, but with ample space.
