I've started both a patreon and a discord server. Why? Because I want to foster community in the queer/trans/plus sized/allied worlds! I want us to all be able to be queer and make stuff *together*. The info is at the end of the video, but I'll detail it down here, too.
Access to the discord server will be filtered through the Be Queer Make Stuff patreon page. The reason for doing this is so I get a small amount of compensation for moderating, etc. and to also make sure we can keep the server private so we all feel comfortable and safe. That said, access to the community is the very lowest tier dollar wise, and my goal is to keep the barrier to entry extremely low so as many of us can participate as possible.
There are, of course, higher tiers for those who want to support that channel more and also want some sweet sweet perks!
