I'm using two Schecter Blackjacks for this comparison, only using the pickups in the bridge position. One with an EMG 81-7, the other one with the stock Blackouts.

You can see me playing one rhythm track each time, but ofcourse I tracked them twice everytime to get a stereo guitar sound.

EQ: HP: 115Hz , LP: 9200 Hz, -2.5dB @ 300Hz

Amp: EVH 5150 III, using the third channel.

Micing: SM57 (Mesa OS cabinet) mixed with a small amount of T Bone SC450 (Framus cabinet) both really close to the center of the speaker.
