This presentation describes roast profile modulation on a Loring S15 Falcon. I discuss how to manipulate heat to achieve the desired look of a roast profile design before cupping the results. I then discuss the impact of each profile against time, temperature and profile - Rate of Rise (RoR), bean curve and heat application on the flavour and aromatic experience.

The sample coffee is a washed regional mixed cultivar and organically grown coffee from Peru. Details of which, provided by our coffee importer are posted below.

Coffees are dried on raised beds, using careful methods to enhance flavour profiles ranging from fruity and floral to nutty and chocolatey.

Their efforts have helped them expand globally, with their coffees now being appreciated in more than ten countries. They actively participate in international events to showcase the diverse flavours and quality of Peruvian coffee, supporting the promotion of the region’s coffee culture.
