The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse March-Galop was composed by E.T. Paull in 1924, one of his final works. This was a really fun one to play; there are ample notes given by Paull about what each Horseman represents, it's effects on the world, and how to interpret each section. Sprinkled throughout the music itself are dramatic annotations to assist the player with imagery in this "Descriptive March Composition" (as referred to by Paull). All of that I felt gave me some license to be very theatrical in this performance, as well as having practically no other references to listen to. I hope you all enjoy! This piece was commissioned by a supporter over on my Ko-fi page and is part of an ongoing series!
