One of Peacock's best current shows, Michael Jonathan Smith's Twisted Metal, boasts an impressive 78% from critics and 86% from audiences on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, with its first season accumulating over 400 million minutes viewed in the weekend following its premiere. Following Anthony Mackie's John Doe, a milkman with amnesia who is thrown headfirst into a journey like no other, the show is a favorite of millions, and excitingly debuted its hotly anticipated second season in July.

"Twisted Metal Season 2 absolutely feels like it was crafted by people who wanted to bring this wild world to life and do it justice, and for the most part, that’s exactly what it does," Collider's Ross Bonaime wrote in his review of the second season, with others agreeing as the sophomore outing earned a huge 90% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing.

As Season 2's chaos continues in all its mechanical glory, Collider's Michael Zimmermann had the chance to talk with two of the second season's stars, Superman star Anthony Carrigan and Michael James Shaw.
