Entitled Man Thinks The Law Doesn’t Apply To Him

On October 24th, 2023. An officer conducted a traffic stop on a man who had no valid registration for his moped that he was riding on the highway. When the officer approached him, he became very defensive and told the officer he did not need a license plate for a moped. The man continued to argue with the officer and kept insisting that he knew the law and the officer was in the wrong. The man ran the VIN# for the moped and found out that the previous owner had registered the moped, therefore making the suspect's claims invalid. The man knew the previous owner had registered it and it was later found out that the man also carries the invalid tags (just in case). The man then switched up his entire attitude after the officer told him he was in the wrong and then he apologized. He was issued a citation and was required to find a method of transportation for the moped because he was not allowed to drive it anymore. After failing to find a method to tow the moped, he insisted if he could just roll it down the sidewalk which the officer wasn’t going for. He disobeyed the officers commands and still rolled it down the sidewalk, the officer caught up to him and told he couldn’t do that but instead, the man spat on the officer's arm and was then arrested.
