The first thing we should check and try to configure that if its' getting less water or more than it needs. By looking at the soil and upon checking the soil moisture, it's clearly visible that the soil is overly saturated. And if i am touching its leaves and stems they feel soft and mushy. So, the conclusion is it's overwatered but there is one more thing. inacurate watering is not the only culprit here, this plant was placed in indirect sunlight. I think that was not enough for this.

Your jade plant normally needs a good amount of direct sunlight, at least 4 hours a day. If the sun is not that harsh. or bright indirect light for whole day. So its lacks light and given too much water. Whenever you are watering Jade plant.You should wait for the soil to dry out 100% before watering, atleast let the soil dry out more than 50%.
