The Exodus, a pivotal event in the Bible, has been under attack by those who minimize its authenticity. They say there is no evidence of a large group of Semitic people living in Egypt, but most have been looking in the wrong century. There is much evidence that Israel was in Egypt and that they left in haste. Another point of debate is the route that they would have taken.
