The swell arrived and showdowns ensued with top seeds making their highly-anticiapted debuts at the Lexus US Open of Surfing Presented by Pacifico.

2023 US Open of Surfing winner Sawyer Lindblad capped off an incredible day of competition. A brilliant performance from Leilani McGonagle added a 14.73 heat total to the day with fellow Costa Rican, 2026 CT requalifier, Brisa Hennessy delivering a buzzer-beater for the Pura Vida duo. Two-time US Open of Surfing victor and current World No. 3, Kanoa Igarashi, reminded the world why he’s one of Huntington’s greatest with a 16.27 heat total.

Plus the Rising Tides took over Huntington Beach to help inspire the next generation with Lindblad, Zoe Benedetto, Talia Swindal, and more at the helm.

The Eero Top 5 Moments included reigning World Junior Champion Bronson Medyi soaring, Kirra Pinkerton’s 8.17 hammer to start in HB. Plus 2023 event victor Eli Hanneman laid down a breakthrough performance along with Samuel Pupo’s buzzer-beater magic taking the No. 2 spot. But, Igarashi ridiculous showcase stole the No. 1 spot in a landslide as he hunts a third evne title.
