Warhammer 40k Mechanicus Review ⚙️ Break Into Tombs 🦾 Look At Rocks 🛠️Praise Omnissiah 🤖

Warhammer 40k Mechanicus is a neat turn-based strategy game that I finished in the year of our lord 2024, 6 years after the game's release. I beat it on Normal difficulty with the Heretek expansion. Probably should have changed it to Hard or above midway through the game.

Mechanicus reminds me of a much simplified XCOM, it's also a turn-based strategy in which one of the main focus points is building up your diverse squad with different specialties and abilities and such. In general, Mechanicus has some fantastic ideas and it does justice to the WH40k brand. The main focus of this game by far is the atmosphere and combat. With very careful consideration as to how these two intertwine.
