Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol 5 Month Skin Update! After irritation, redness, peeling, lizard skin, acne, and more... I quit. I give up.

Either using 1% retinol is too strong for me as someone who has never used retinol before or I am sensitive to something in the ingredients. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin to begin with so it could be both. Honestly, I dunno.

The main reason I started using retinol was to get rid of my acne and acne scars. At first, it seemed to be working, but over time, my skin kept getting worse and worse. It got to a point where my skin was burning after I washed it. I still keep getting chin acne on and off. Ever since my final update in this video, my acne actually got even worse around my chin and upper lip; it has even spread to my cheeks and forehead now. I hope it gets better soon. After much thought, this is why I stopped using Drunk Elephant A-Passioni retinol cream.

If you've tried A-Passioni, how has your experience with it been so far? I'd love to read all about it in the comments below. I'm so curious if anyone else has had a similar experience as me.
