Set in 1960s Dublin, the musical follows Alfie Byrne, a bus conductor with a passion for theater, as he leads an amateur group in a daring production of Oscar Wilde’s “Salome”. Despite social and personal obstacles, Alfie and his troupe explore themes of identity, acceptance, and the power of self-expression.

With music by Stephen Flaherty, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, and a book by Terrence McNally, this award-winning production celebrates the courage to defy societal expectations and the transformative impact of theater.
