How Many Characters Can You See At EPCOT Without a Plan?

For most people, a successful trip to Disney World requires lots of strategic planning. There are schedules for shows & character meet n greet opportunities which have to be coordinated with meals and other rides and attractions to make sure that you fit in all the things you want to do, BUT during our recent visit, the Communicore Plaza had just opened and there was an Encanto Singalong…. and that was going to be the primary focus of our video.

Frankly, we went, we saw, it was not really much to talk about, so we needed something else to fill our time.

But we couldn’t very well think or plan on an empty stomach so we decided that we would have lunch and figure everything out from there….

Vaguely in the background of my mind, I had this idea about doing a day where we spend the whole day at EPCOT just greeting characters, but I was convinced that strategic planning would be required in order to maximize the number of characters we could meet across the park taking into account their locations, walking distances, and greeting times!

But with nothing else to do and a responsibility to keep Vivian occupied while Pierce took a nap, I figured, “Let’s just wing it and what happens!”
