Novel Synopsis:
After six years of dating and discussing marriage, Lucas suddenly told me to wait.
He said he had to hold a grand wedding with his first love before he could marry me.
Because it was the dying wish of her terminally ill mother.
He couldn't bear to let the old woman pass away with regrets, so he tearfully promised at her hospital bedside that he would give her daughter a home.
But he forgot that my mother, too, had been waiting for me to get married for a long time.
