ジェシカ・ゲリティーさんと弓道との出会いは十数年前。その時は、偶然通りがかりに見ただけだったが、“癒し”を感じ、忘れられない印象が残ったという。実際に弓道を体験したのは、2017年。その魅力に惹かれ、弓の世界にどんどんと引き込まれていった。今では弓道は人生に欠かせないものとなっている。ニュージーランドから日本に渡り、タレントとして活躍するジェシカさんが、日本の弓道への溢れんばかりの“愛”を語ってくれた。

Jessica Gerrity, a New Zealander living in Japan, came across kyudo a dozen years ago. This encounter, though a brief glimpse while passing by, gave her a power to heal and left her with an unforgettable impression. After tried it in 2017, she was hooked on the world of kyudo. And now kyudo is an indispensable part of her life.

The mother of three, also working as a television personality, delivers a talk on her love for kyudo.
