Tembo the badass elelphant is, just like the title says, badass. You play as an elephant that rambos through stuff to save civilians from terrorists. And there is some epic acton going on. Tembo has a combination of dash attacks and stomp attacks. Also he can store water in his trunk and estinguish fire obstacles on the way.
The presentation is amazing. There are some cartoon panels without any text dialogues. Which is amazing, because this means that the game is universal. You don’t need to know English to understand what’s going on in the game.
Also beware that the game becomes fairly challenging. It’s not difficult, but it still has many challenging parts that can even lead to some frustrating moments. Still, you can finish the game fairly easy. The game takes you around 5 hours to beatYou have to kill all terrorist in a level. You can also collect nuts, and when you collect enough you fill a paenut butter jar. And peanut butter jars are lives in the game. Also you can collect civilians. There are 10 civilians in a level. And each civilian is worth 10 points. They aren’t mandatory, what you need is a good terrorist score. Because if you didn’t take out enough you won’t be able to progress. Ok.
Also each level is complex. It’s not run from left to right. There are so many twists and turns in a level, you will have to surely repeat levels in order to visit each part and collect everything. Also it’s amazing how creative the levels are.
As for the gameplay, all of these elements are nicely put together. The controls are snappy and feel just right, you will feel at home with this game, and it will make you feel good for sure.
This game is amazing, it has personality, is satisfying to play even if it’s tough, and I totally recommend you play it. Wether it is on PC or PS4.
