The Copenhagen-based, prolific collage artist Paw Grabowski is equally productive under his musical moniker øjeRum, having released a plethora of albums with varying tonal motifs, with his main emphasis being firmly set on experimental mindset. His musical ambitions have explored the various shades and colours of ambient realms, often utilising beautifully orchestrated, melancholic loops soaked in endless reverb. On
Coiled Souls, øjeRum exists in a form shaped around soft-spoken, bittersweet acoustic songs thriving in minimalism and lo-fi aesthetic. The ten songs on the record are centered around the guitar and voice, alongside the shifting isolation of the room, revealing a truly personal and honest representation of the artist himself.
