Understanding the historical performance of the well and operating metrics is important to make decisions for optimizing the production. Identifying trends and impact of different set points and operation upsets will help operators to make better decisions on how to operate the well. Not every operator and data scientist has access to the reservoir simulation software and they are expensive and highly technical to work with, whereas historical data is available to everyone. The purpose of this analysis is not to simulate the production of the gas well since there are many factors that need to be taken into consideration. We intend to give data scientists and operators a tool to quickly identify patterns and generate insights and use it as a lens in their day to day decision making.
