요즘 날씨도 제법 선선해지고 완연한 가을로 접어드는 것 같아요😊
오늘 영상으로는 추석 연휴를 맞이하여 단풍나무와 보름달을 담은 비누를 만들어 보았어요.
올해는 코로나 때문에 명절의 분위기가 많이 다르겠지만 여전히 풍성하고 즐거운 연휴를 보내시길 바래요:D

The biggest holiday of the year, Chuseok starts from today in Korea. It is quite similar to thanksgiving in the US. There will be family gatherings, traditional food and celebrations. To celebrate this major holiday of my culture, I made “Autumn soap” with full moon, which is an important symbol of this harvest fest. Due to covid, it may not be as joyful as it normally is, but still let’s not forget the spirit of this time of the year. Let’s all be thankful to what we have.. appreciate the nature, family and everything.

This design soap requires many advanced techniques. I made full moon with MP soap, and the leafs on top of the loaf used for toppings were also made with melt and pour soap. The rest of the soap were made with cold process technique. Understanding of different phases of CP soap is required to express the mountain and trees in the landscape.

Coconut oil (코코넛오일) : 220g
Palm oil (팜오일): 200g
Sunflower oil (해바라기유): 200g
Grape seed oil (포도씨오일): 100g
Canola oil (카놀라유): 130g
Lye(가성소다): 125g
Distilled water(정제수): 238g
