Marvel vs. Capcom [Arcade] - Roll & Red Venom

Roll & Red Venom are both hidden characters in this game. Both are hidden playable characters.

===== About Roll =====
She is a completely unique hidden character in the game, unlike the other five. She plays similar to Megaman with similar special and super moves. As a 'small' character, she has the advantage of being hard to hit and combo'ing onto. The drawback is of course, her basics are extremely short-range.

It should also be noted that when it comes to her original BGM vocal song, there is also an alternate instrumental version which is only used in the Asian versions of the game (outside of Japan).

===== About Red Venom =====
A palette swap of the regular Venom. He is much faster than regular Venom and his basics come out quicker and recover quicker. This allows him to produce long combos. He also has shadow trails which follow his movement. The biggest drawback with him is that he receives very high energy depletion, so if you're not careful you can be defeated very quickly with him.

==== About Marvel vs. Capcom 1 =====
MvC1 is one of my all-time favorite fighting games... I probably like it more than MvC2. It really was the game that showed how good crossovers from multiple franchises can be. The Special Partner feature is a cool idea as it added some uniqueness to the main gameplay and allowed us to see what other characters from other franchises and other Marvel characters looked like under Capcom's Vs series artistry. The soundtrack is decent as well. I really wish Ryu had his personal theme rather than the SF2 Title theme...
